Café

The Cafe has been fully restored after being operated as a General Store for more than 130 years of continuous operation since 1867. Trading ceased in 1999 and the renovation began in 2002. The extensive refurbishment touched every aspect of the building to ensure that the Store can work tirelessly for the next 130 years. A cellar has been included along with a mezzanine floor for those cold Burrawang winters and hot coffees.

Today you can spend the morning with friends over breakfast, have a lazy lunch or a romantic dinner for two in age old atmosphere that would do the 1860’s proud. We have endeavoured to restore the building with materials salvaged from the process which includes the construction of the 8 metre long table from materials such as the floors and original counters. You can have lunch with 30 of your best friends on the one table if you wish.
